Hi there!
No painting here the last ten days... The only thing I 've manage to do is to prepare the next
miniature and have a small conversion of the base. This pose inspires for a ground level up!
Here are some pictures during the procedure... Hope that inspires someone also :)
'Till next time....
Keep Up the Brushes!!!
Wow! That base looks excellent, even without a lick of paint on the figure.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ray! I hope that the final result will be satisfying also :)
DeleteVery nifty base-building!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jonathan! Have a nice weekend!
DeleteGreat base, it accentuates his action pose nicely.
ReplyDeleteThanks my friend!
DeleteThat's nicely done!
ReplyDeleteThank you sir!
DeleteReally great idea! Thank You :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Michal , glad you got inspired!
DeleteGreat looking base! Good luck in future paint.
ReplyDeleteThank you my friend!
DeletePine bark is perfect for imitation rock and a lot easier to work with than the real thing. Never thought of using it as a base for a figure though which I have to say is a great idea and I look forward to seeing the painted piece.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Pat.
Yes it is perfect! It only needs some dark wash and some tones of
Deletehighlighting and the result is awesome! The only hint is to check
the bonding of the wood's layers because sometimes they are ready
to break away. I don't know if I've described it correctly but you
must try the stability before painting.
The figure is almost ready and will be in blog since the weekend!
Thanks for the comment!
George.
